This beautiful country Murcia B&B house is only 10 minutes away from Cartagena and the beaches of Puerto Mazarron. Tara's Retreat bed and breakfast is a completely secluded house, surrounded by whitewashed walls and Bougainvillea and is set in the pretty and typical Murcian village of La Magdalena in South East Spain. It is countryside that is used for growing almond, orange and lemon trees and for grazing goats and sheep. The Spanish here live simply and quietly and there is a sense of relaxation and peace amongst the tranquil hills and mountains. It is an ideal base to explore the City of Cartagena, The port of Mazarron and is a haven for walkers and cyclists. There are many golf courses and places of interest in and around the area.

 Available for guests and an added option at Tara´s retreat B&B are Pilates, Yoga, Mosaic art lessons and meditation and relaxation classes. These options are available at extra charge.

Tara's Retreat Bed and BreakfastFrom Alicante or San Javier Airports follow the signs for Cartagena to AP7 motorway. As you approach Cartagena take the exit (salida) number 800 and follow the signs for Almeria/Vera. This will take you onto a continuation of the AP7 until you see the signs for Cartagena Oeste.

This exit ends at a roundabout, turn right and drive through the town of Molinos Marfagones. After this town carry on this road past a petrol station on the right hand side and take the second right hand turning marked La Alhorra, La Magdalena and San Isidro. The first village is La Magdalena and Tara´s Retreat is the second house on the right.
