We have lived on the coast for many years, but always wanted to live inland in the real Spain. When we looked at this house in Periana we just fell in love with it, and that was it.

We have had restaurants and a catering business in the UK, and have always been involved with food. So its possible for our customers to sample our food if they decide to have dinner here.

Bel Limonero ( Beautiful Lemon Tree ) is a 150 year old rustic townhouse renovated in a traditional Spanish style.

We have just given it a fresh make over, without losing any of its charm. It has a very pretty courtyard with a lemon tree as its central feature, and lots of flowers, where you can have breakfast and/or dinner in the warm months, a winter dining room, and a cosy lounge with wood burner. It has 2 other terraces with scenic views.

Location and Attractions

Bel Limonero B & B is centrally situated in the very Spanish white mountain village of Periana which has stunning lake and mountain views. The village has every amenity, including shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. There is an excellent municipal swimming pool open in the Summer months.

Bel Limonero is famous for producing olives... there is a small olive oil factory in the town, and also peaches. Fiestas include "The day of the Olives" in April, Fiesta de San Isidrio Labrador ( the patron Saint of the village )...this goes on for 5 days," The Day of the Peach"  at the end of July, and Semana Cultural in November.
