Casa Migdia Bed and Breakfast
The owners want to welcome you to Casa Migdia 'boutique hotel' in Catalonia. This bed and breakfast is situated in the middle of the village Sant Jordi Desvalls just 15 kilometers away from Gerona and 20 kilometers from the nicest beaches of Costa Brava. Casa Migdia has 5 large bedrooms all with on-suite bathrooms, a restaurant and bar , lounge and a pleasant garden with a pool.
The Casa Migdia bed and breakfast was inaugurated the November 3rd 2007 and is opened since the month of December 2007. The owners fell under the charm of this part of the Catalonia a few years ago.
Casa Migdia has 5 large bedrooms with on-suite bathrooms to offer, all beautifully decorated and equiped with a plasma screen, DVD player and ADSL/WIFI Internet connection. There are a large selection of DVDs available from reception!
The Casa Migdia b and b has a large restaurant and bar area for you to relax and enjoy your meals. The restaurant is in two old vaulted rooms in which the architecture reminds us that it used to be an old presbytery. A fire place of Moorish inspiration has been constructed there. At the far end of the room, the bar opens onto the garden where breakfast is served. You can also go there and relax for a drink at the bar or a game of table football.
The breakfast menu consists of homemade jam, cakes, fresh fruit juices, cheese and hot beverages which are served every morning between 8.30am til 10.30am.
Casa Migdia dinner menu offers Mediterranean food with seasonal produce from the garden or market. In the bar room or on the terrace you can enjoy Casa Migdia's cocktails such as mojito, caipirinha and margarita. Other drinks such as fresh fruit juice, mint tea and champagnes are available. A wide selection of french, Argentinian and Spanish wine is also available.
Casa Migdia's garden is an old priest 's garden, which offers a very pleasant terrace to have a drink or to have breakfast or dinner when the weather is nice.
The garden houses a hundred-year-old olive tree surrounded by a carpet of grass and aromatic plants. You will be able to relax in the heated circular pool in summer as well as in winter. A few steps will take you down to the street if you wish to go on an improvised visit of the village.
Casa Migdia offers some supplementary services to make your stay relaxing. These include taking care of car and motorcycle rentals, picking you up from the airport or train station, offer you bikes for children and adults so that you can enjoy the large VTT trails accessible from the Casa Migdia and Casa Migdia also have a baby sitting service where young competant and serious woman offer to take care of your children for a few hours.
