The B&B is within easy reach of Jaén, Córdoba (with its famous mosque) and of course Granada with the famous Alhambra Palace. You can also visit Orgiva with its famous gypsy market or Trevèlez famous for its ham 'Jamon serrano'.

You can take a day trip to the famous western village in Almeria.

Also nearby is Cabo di Gato which is a beautiful marine preserve. In the surrounding area of Málaga you can follow the route of 'Pueblos Blancos' where some of the best Spanish sweet wines are produced. Guadix is a place to discover with homes built in caves.

Alcalá la Real, with a population of 20.000 is a town where you can buy anything for your needs and there is the 'La Mota' fort high on the hill overlooking the town. You can visit the many bars in Alcalá offering free Tapas.
